Hope Delivers Exceptional Hospice Care to Your Patients

Starr works closely with you, your patients, and their family members to deliver the quality care they deserve. We are responsive to your needs and the urgent needs of your patients, with availability after hours and on weekends.

Hospice Services

At any point during a life-limiting illness, all care options, including hospice, should be discussed with the patient. A hospice referral is rarely premature. The earlier patients begin hospice care, the sooner they—and their families—will benefit.

In fact, hospice care is most beneficial over a period of months, yet most hospice patients die within a month of referral. This is, in part, because patients and caregivers are reluctant to pursue hospice before death is imminent.

An early referral provides patients with extra attention and focused hospice care to manage pain and discomfort. It also offers your patients and their families a vital opportunity to receive spiritual care, identify resources with the help of our social workers, deal with loss, and say goodbye.
